PF CHILI SALE

The Camerons wish to thank everyone who has brought them food over the past few months. If you're missing the container that you brought food in, they are on the shelves next to the entryway. Please pick them up by February 16th. Those left over will be donated to Goodwill.

THIS WEEK AT THE F.A.I.R. (Faith and Inspiration Rotation aka Church School)
Preschool: preschool class (Main Street Children’s Center classroom- far end of downstairs in Parish Hall)
K- Grade 1: Art- Green Room (downstairs under Parish Hall)
Grades 2-3: Missions– Blue Room (downstairs under Parish Hall)
Grades 4-6: Drama– Bible Room (downstairs in Connector)
3. Pilgrim Fellowship
Chili prep is on Friday at 6:30 at the church. We will need teens at church Sunday morning to sell chili and to collect for the Souper Bowl of Caring; let Sara know if you can help out!
Due to the Superbowl, this Sunday’s PF meeting will be from 3:30-5:00pm.
Those interested in participating in the special music for Youth Sunday will meet from 5-6pm.
4. Mother/Daughter Choir
On March 11, we plan to have a Mother/Daughter Choir, which will rehearse Sundays following worship, starting February 12 for about a half hour. There will be no rehearsal February 19. All women and girls are welcome (Mother/Daughter combos are especially encouraged). Practice CD's will be made available.

February 6– Hungry for Change, looks at what are others doing and how we can help.
February 11– Be My Green Valentine: Sustainability Fair, Film and Potluck, Free admission, event proceeds to benefit fuel assistance for local families

6. School supply donations needed
As a Global Activism class and Senior Project, church member Robert Potts is collecting donations of art supplies and children's summer clothing for the Art Creation Foundation for Children, a non-profit school for orphaned and extremely impoverished elementary-aged children in Jacmel, Haiti. The city of Jacmel is roughly the size of Portland and 80% of its infrastructure was destroyed in the earthquake. The school currently receives around $65,000 in donations each year, but has expenses in excess of $90,000 due to the influx of children. A box to leave donations is available in the new entryway. 7. Church Directory Pictures
We have completed our two sessions of directory pictures with Olan Mills. If you were not able to attend, we’d still like to have your photo in the directory! You have a couple of options how to do that:
·You can contact Olan Mills directly at 800-845-1157. If there is another church in the area doing pictures, you can do yours there.
·You can send Michelle Josephson a digital photo at mapnak@maine.rr.com
·If you need someone to take a picture, Michelle can also do after church sometime if you let her know.
All photos need to be in by the end of February to be included in the directory. Thank you!
